Danielle & Roger’s Wedding at Jellyfish Restaurant- Punta CanaBesides each other, Danielle & Roger’s three loves in life are food, travel and baseball (San Francisco Giants!!). Having secretly brought along Danielle’s grandmother’s wedding ring when they hiked the Inka Trail, Roger proposed to Danielle at dawn on Machu Picchu. Romantic and mystical, the perfect combination! The exotic and beautiful Punta Cana, with it’s proximity to the US, made it the perfect location for their destination wedding.Roger & Danielle met at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida, when Danielle threw a saran wrapped ball at Roger’s head. She now says: “It’s the best shot I ever had!” Roger, an Executive Chef and Danielle, a dancer/figure skater, who just finished her BA in Business Management, spend their lives working in the food industry and traveling the world tasting what each country has to offer as they go.For their big day, Danielle was dressed in simple elegance of cream colored layers, a dress fitting for a dancer. Roger’s light but elegant cream colored, embroidered, shirt and pants were found during a trip to Ethiopia. As they do everything together they helped a jeweler design Danielle’s white and yellow gold diamond wedding set. For Roger, only exotic again in a ring made from material of a meteorite.Natural simplicity was again the plan for the wedding party. Dark blue for the ladies, light blue and khaki for the men, and tropical colors for the girls. Their lovely colors flowed beautifully with the rich cream of the bride and groom. Wedding cupcakes, local tropical flowers and luminary candles lit the way for their sunset ceremony at Jellyfish Restaurant. Treasured Bride and Groom penguins from South Africa topped the cupcakes.
We wish you the best, guys!
And the big day came at amazing Jellyfish Restaurant…
About GGG staff: “Danielle’s & Roger’s desire to have quality images capture who they are, rather than being a staged display was their primary criteria in choosing a photographer. GGG Photo read them beautifully and brought out their true nature in a lovely and natural photo array. We are forever grateful to Georges & Mili, and their team, for the beautiful images we have to remember this fabulous day!” – Rebecca Rogers – Roger’s mom
