In August 2018, Paulina had recently moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to explore the city and gain new adventures. Chase also had recently moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota for work from Kansas. One hot summer day, Chase’s apartment complex was hosting a pool party. Paulina and her friends were at the same pool party. Paulina saw Chase in the pool with a cold beer in hand and couldn’t help but recognize him from the same gym. She then introduced herself to him and the rest is history!
GGG: Why did you decide to have a destination wedding in Punta Cana?
Paulina: “We are not your traditional couple. We love to make our own adventures and do unique things. So we decided on a destination wedding because we didn’t want a typical average wedding… and both have never been to the Dominican before, so why not get married there!”
Even when the couple and all their guests stayed at Hard Rock Punta Cana, they decided to have their wedding celebration in an outside wedding venue. Paulina loved the fact that at Kukua, you can customize anything and everything to make your wedding dreams come true. She had a specific vision in mind… romantic, elegant, and sexy… all white with pops of pink and gold detail. Wedding planning was a breeze! Rachel at Kukua made wedding planning very easy and simple. Mayte at Kukua did the wedding day execution and details down to perfection.
Also, with the vendor fee increasing every year, most couples decide to have their wedding celebration outside the all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. Doing this, they have the choice to personalize their event, not incur in extra costs and of course working with their preferred vendors.
