Casa de Campo
Casa de Campo is known for being a top Luxury Destination Wedding location for brides and many celebrities’ favorite places to vacation.
Located in the Southeast Region of the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo resides in the beautiful city of La Romana. Since La Romana is between Punta Cana and Santo Domingo, tourists typically fly into Punta Cana (PUJ, which is 45 minutes away, La Romana (LRM) (15 minutes away), or sometimes Santo Domingo (SDQ), which is about 90 minutes away.
Accommodations
Guests are given the option of choosing a hotel room or private villa that best suits their preferences.
Each room provides a personal golf cart so you can provide your group with multiple experiences, all within an 8-minute radius of the hotel. Casa de Campo also offers a complimentary shuttle to take you where you desire.
Altos de Chavon, Casa de Campo
Within the Casa de Campo property is a Mediterranean style village called Altos de Chavon.
The village was designed by renowned Italian architect Roberto Copa who spent years building a replica of a Mediterranean artist village alongside the Chavos River.
The medieval backdrop was the perfect background for Joseph and Alisha to take some romantic couple pictures before their wedding celebration. The historic colonial village is in such high demand that couples must book one to two years in advance to secure their destination wedding.
Minitas Beach, Casa de Campo
Nestled within the heart of Casa de Campo lies the picturesque Minitas Beach, where Alisha and Joseph tied the knot.
After hearing about the beautiful location from their travel agent Shalene Dudley, and falling in love with their pictures on Instagram Alisha and Joseph knew that getting married in Casa de Campo Playa Minitas was what they wanted.
Aside from a beautiful view, Minitas Beach in Casa de Campo has various things to do. From watersports to massages in their open-air pavilion to the most delicious pina colada your heart desires.
But the best thing that most guests appreciate is the quiet and calm atmosphere as they relax and take some time to rest.
Food & Beverage
The best part about rest, relaxation, and planning your special day in Casa de Campo is that you don’t have to worry about cooking. Leave the dinner plans at the hands of some of the most incredible chefs.
The resort has seven restaurants and two food trucks throughout the place. The cuisine keeps guests returning; many locations, including the Minitas Beach Club, have incredible oceanfront views.
