Rebekah & Evan

Beach wedding celebration at Hard Rock Punta Cana / Rebekah & Evan

Rebekah & Evan met at work in 2020. They work at the same company (don’t worry – it’s not a company scandal since they work in different departments, haha)

On their “first date” they were casually hanging out as friends, and when they arrived at the restaurant, after sitting down, Evan announced that he was considering that for their first date. Lovely story, right?

GGG: How was your wedding planning at HRPC?

R: “The wedding planning went flawlessly and it was amazing how Hard Rock provided wedding planners to connect with you and discuss your vision. Lots of my other friends got married last year and I saw how stressful it was for them planning a local wedding. In the meantime our planning went very smoothly and stress free. I recommend a destination wedding to everyone! Our on-site coordinator Niurca made the day a dream come true and handled everything perfectly.

GGG: Why did you narrow down to this all inclusive as your wedding venue?

R: “We looked at a lot of different locations and resorts. We stumbled across Hard Rock. We loved how eventful the resort was (the nightlife and parties, different restaurants) and how big it was – we thought that our guests could do whatever they want, not feeling like they had to spend their vacation with us the entire time. Hard Rock has great wedding perks and I really liked how they had the complimentary wedding package, where I could upgrade to my liking from there. They also have amazing reviews from other couples that had their wedding there! We love that we did our wedding at Hard Rock and wouldn’t change a thing, I know for sure we made the right choice for us, and our guests!

GGG: Did you have a hard time finding your wedding theme?

R: “I’m not sure if the wedding had a set theme. Before I met with the Hard Rock wedding planners I created a PowerPoint with pictures of how I envisioned the wedding and how I would like it. The wedding planners put me into contact with the wedding vendors so we could make sure everything looked to my liking. I went for a beachy theme (lots of blue – because I love the color blue and because of the ocean) and greenery.

Congrats Mr & Mrs Bodermann
