Melissa & Alex

Fancy beach wedding in Jellyfish Restaurant // Melissa & Alex.

Planning a destination wedding is not an easy task, but when you have expert hands doing things for you and they are so professional on what they do, everything goes smoothly.

So, when Melissa & Alex told us that their wedding celebration was going to be at Jellyfish Restaurant, we told them that that’s a decision they will not regret and they didn’t.

We love all inclusive destination weddings in Punta Cana resorts, but we highly recommend looking for outside wedding venues as well before you make your final decision.

“We chose Jellyfish as our wedding venue due to the absolutely stunning elegant, rustic and timeless style of the restaurant. It fits perfectly with the style of wedding that we had in mind. Also, the venue is perfect for beautiful wedding photos” says Melissa, and it was exactly like that.

If you are planning a very personalized wedding in Punta Cana, this place has to be on your top five. The onsite wedding planning team will be your eyes and ears, they will work with any specific budget, and at these uncertain times, that’s a real relief. As wedding photographers, we always find great spots for pictures, as Melissa says, the architectural design of this place, makes it special and unique. Not to mention, that we’ll be able to capture dozens of decoration photos. We truly love the decor at Jellyfish Restaurant.

“When deciding to do a destination wedding some important factors to consider are: the location and venue (to us DR is like a second home since we have family there so it was very important for them to be part of the wedding), the season and climate, ensuring to plan ahead and notify guests with enough time to save up for the extra travel expenses, and finally be aware that destination weddings are usually smaller and that’s okay (our wedding was small and intimate with all of our closest loved ones and we wouldn’t have it any other way” says the bride.

Melissa and Alex stayed at Royalton Bavaro but Jellyfish gave them all the facilities to transportation from there to the restaurant. Also, they were allowed to taste their food and drinks options before their wedding day. That’s personalized customer service at its finest!

The couple had a small wedding party but they had a blast during the reception anyway. Crazy hour and sparkles are always good options to make your guests have extra fun and for us, great memories, so if you are considering these for your party, go ahead, you will not regret it.

Final thoughts of this beautiful destination wedding: “Our experience in Punta Cana was nothing short of amazing. The hospitality provided during our entire stay made us feel welcome and at home. The views and the beaches just topped everything we could have imagined”  ended Melissa .
