Even when Punta Cana is the most popular place to have a destination wedding in Dominican Republic, we must say that if you are looking for an all inclusive resort to celebrate your wedding, Hilton La Romana should definitely be in your options.

This resort (formerly called Dreams La Romana) is located about 45 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, but, you should also know there is another airport even closer: La Romana International Airport and as of today, it is in full operations.

Bayahibe is the closest town, is a quiet place with a mixture of dominicans, italians and french population. If you or your guests are considering to do some excursions, let us tell you that this is the starting point of the most famous: from there you can visit Saona & Catalina islands. Also, you can go to Altos del Chavon, a particular and unique location, google it!

Now, let’s talk about the resort. Hilton La Romana is an ideal resort for any kind of wedding celebrations. From big to small, legal, religious and symbolic unions. They also offer two beautiful gazebos on the coast with amazing views, but if your thing is getting married on the sand, that will be done, but we really don’t recommend this option because there will be some sneaky tourists around there. The gazebos -both of them- are very private and gorgeous.
