“Dan and I met in 2015 in Ohio, just before I started nursing school. We dated throughout nursing school and moved to Orlando, Florida, in 2017. Dan proposed in Asheville, NC, in 2022, just before I finished graduate school. Since both of our families live in Ohio and we live in Florida, we decided a destination wedding was the best option!”

Finding the perfect venue for such a special event wasn’t easy, but after spending a lot of time exploring different resorts and comparing wedding packages in Punta Cana, Gina and Dan chose Dreams Royal Beach as their wedding venue.

The couple appreciated the resort’s family-friendly atmosphere, which was important to them, as well as its stunning location for beach ceremonies. With this breathtaking backdrop, they embraced a minimalist yet elegant wedding style. Gina designed every detail herself—from the invitations and floral arrangements to the playlists and timeline—infusing the celebration with her personal touch.

During our video calls, we encouraged the couple to include a first look, and they decided to go for it. It turned out to be a beautifully romantic moment. With a small wedding party, the day flowed smoothly with nothing but positive energy.

The reception at SeaSide Grill was an absolute blast. After the traditional dances and cake cutting, the dance floor filled up, and everyone danced the night away. It was a truly remarkable celebration!
