Solo photo shoot in Punta Cana / Michelle

From the first moment we received her email, we felt her good vibes, so right after we heard her story and the reasons about why she wanted to book a solo photo session, we knew that we would have a great time together doing her pictures.

“I have been to the Dominican Republic 31 times. We first went to the DR in 2005. We just fell in love with the DR, people and felt like family. We always stay at Excellence Punta Cana as it has a great tropical feel, the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond. We have come to know a lot of the staff and consider them a part of our family” says Michelle.

She contacted us in March, but unfortunately, something happened on her end and she had to cancel the photo shoot. However, we were able to reschedule her pictures for this September. Despite the setback, nothing appeased her desire to make this self-gift a reality.

“I am a 53 year old woman with 3 Grown boys and 9 grand babies. As a woman, I was always hard on myself, women can be their own worst critic. I always wanted to get a portfolio together and dreamed of modelling for a fashion or even Caribbean magazine. I started to work out, got a trainer thought it was time to step in front of the camera” says Michelle with a big smile and as you can see below, she rocked in front of our cameras.
“I did a lot of research and chose GGGPHOTO. Mili made me feel so comfortable during my solo shoot. From posing to smiling. Before I knew it I was feeling more confident and just went with every shot. After seeing my pictures my self confidence grew. Who knows I may still see if I can achieve my dream. So, if you are a woman or man and feel like you can’t give a great photo. Please just do it, everyone is beautiful in their own way. I will certainly be doing another one” – Michelle.

For every person who is on a healthy path, changing life habits, being able to see those changes and enjoy them is an incentive, not only to know that it is the right path, but to move forward and encourage others around you as well. Part of Michelle’s purpose was enjoying a solo session and then being able to see in time that all the effort was worth it.
Also, you should know that by this time more people decide to book a solo photo sessions for very personal purposes. You can book a solo photo shoot for your social networks, for your work, for a portfolio, a resume, for invitations cards, etc.

She and her husband stayed at the Excellence Punta Cana, an adult only all inclusive resort located in Uvero Alto, where we picked them up early in the morning. We took them to a beautiful beach close by the resort. The waves were rough, we still are in the hurricane season don’t forget, but the scenery was very Caribbean still, perfect for pictures. We were able to take some photos on the shore with palm trees in the middle of a majestic forest full of greens near the beach.
Remember, when you book a photo session, we recommend you to bring some accessories that you like the most, and at least one or two changes of clothes.
Michelle had shown us what kind of poses she wanted in her photos, and we were able to fulfil her wishes. She really posed excellently and the climate was extremely nice!
