Stunning Wedding celebration at La Barcaza – Tanya & Kohlman.
Our first wedding celebration of this 2021 was in an incredible scenery: in the middle of the turquoise water of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We couldn’t be more excited for that and of course, Tanya & Kohlman and all their loved ones who came here for the celebration had a great time.
The couple was supposed to get married last November but, as the majority of couples affected by Covid, they postponed their wedding for two months and it turned out to be a clever and lucky decision.
We loved the couple’s attitude, who literally, told us that nothing was going to stop or change their wedding plans anymore. They choose La Barcaza as their wedding venue and as we have worked several times in the past with its crew, we knew that it would be an amazing celebration of love, and it was!!!
The couple decided to have an off resort wedding. They wanted to have a personalized experience wedding and also, they wanted to mix their celebration with an excursion so, La Barcaza was the right choice!
The boat is perfect for small and intimate weddings and it offers two locations for the ceremony: a secluded beach (our favorite one- you can see more samples here) and the top of the boat (perfect for some aerial shoots with drone). Tanya & Kohlman choose the later and it was perfect. They had a pretty sunny wedding day, so the view was breathtaking.
They are a fun couple and all their guests were looking for something special, unique and of course fun! and they had it! After the formal celebration, everyone -newlyweds included- jumped off the boat to drink and dance into the water. Such a blast!!!
We really think that it is a pretty good option for those who are seeking something different! Tanya also hired an outside vendor for her make up and hairstyle -as a make up artist as herself- she wanted a very specific look and Magda Riccardi and her staff made her dreams come true.
