Trash the Dress Sunset Photo Shoot in Punta Cana.

After the new protocols and restrictions for Covid-19 in the world, we have received inquiries for couples asking for small wedding celebrations, honeymoon photo shoots, elopement weddings, surprise proposals and trash-the-dress photo sessions like this one.

This tell us that plans to celebrate love do not stop and we are thrilled by that. For those couples who decide to cancel their weddings in Punta Cana and get married on their hometowns, but choose to came here anyway after that, we believe that booking a trash-the-dress session is a pretty good idea to get special memories of their celebration of love.

Julia & Christian got married a few months ago at home but they didn’t cancel their plans to visit Dominican Republic. They had heard about the stunning sunsets in Punta Cana, and they were pretty excited with the idea of getting romantic sunset portraits. We are always happy with the idea of shooting people with natural light and maybe some artificial light as well.

They really enjoyed the complete photo shoot, they told us that they had a very hard time re-planning their wedding celebration in U.S.A., so the idea to have some relaxation time here, with no stress, no guests, only themselves enjoying their new life status was pretty cool.

Julia brought her original wedding dress (it was gorgeous!!!) for the photo shoot, but if you don’t want to mess up yours, we recommend you to buy a cheap one just for photos. You can get a wedding bouquet here (we can help you on this) or bring a plastic one from home. Julia made an appointment at the salon at the resort where they were staying and brought a bottle of champagne to the photo session and it was a good idea. Some couples bring props like banners, personalized glasses, etc. for their pictures.

As we mentioned, Julia & Christian wanted something different, so sunset was the perfect time for their photo shoot. The light and the colors in the sky put a little more romanticism to the pictures, scroll down to see the final result.
