“Matthew and I met each other in high school even though we are two years apart. After going our separate ways during college, we found each other again a few years later and the rest is history. We were simply meant to be” – Regina.

GGG: Why did you decide to have a destination wedding instead of a local wedding celebration?

Regina: ”We wanted our guests to feel like they were going on a fun vacation where there just happened to be a wedding they attended too. After visiting a few potential resorts to host the wedding, we fell in love with Hard Rock Hotel for their gorgeous wedding venues and fun party vibes. I could already picture our loved ones sharing such an incredible time with us as we toured the resort for the very first time.

“The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana was an easy choice for our dream wedding. Because of how big it is and how much there is to do, we knew our guests would never get bored. From pools, beaches, the adult side, the water park, to its nightlife and of course the casino, we couldn’t wait to get married there. Not to mention, they have a lot of options of wedding locations, each being so stunning. It was everything I had envisioned for my wedding day” says Regina with a big smile.

Many times, our customers ask us: “what is the newlywed photo session?” and we explain that the newlywed photo session is the photo session right after your wedding ceremony and group pictures.
We normally start at the beach, we do a few drone shots and then we continue by the beautiful garden, bridge, the canal and some fancy spots inside the main building. You will regret not having more time for pictures. The aerial views with our drone, taking advantage of the canal, look really amazing!

GGG: How was your wedding planning with the resort?

Regina: ”Once the venue was confirmed, we didn’t have to do any other planning until 5 months before. At that time, the Hard Rock Wedding department reached out to us to get plans started for the big day. Spearheaded by our amazing coordinator, Valentina, she and her team helped us to make our dream wedding come true. It was relatively stress free for planning a wedding, even from countries away!”

GGG: Your wedding theme was pretty nice, very Caribbean style.

“The theme of our wedding was “Tropical Elegance”, intertwining white with shades of green, making our colors flow well with the cream sand and blue water. The scenery itself takes care of so much!

GGG: Everything turned great on your special day…

Regina: Thanks! The most incredible day of my life happened because we had the best local vendors ever! All of them made everything so easy for us! Thanks to all fo them!
