Wedding Anniversary Photo Session in Punta Cana / Cameryn & Kyle

Wedding photographer is not only a job description for us. With more than a decade working in paradise, we witnessed hundreds of beautiful wedding celebrations in stunning locations. So, we are very lucky to say that we are part of many lives.

Cameryn & Kyle got married on 2016 at Dreams Palm Beach. They had a amazing wedding ceremony at the garden gazebo, surrounded by friends and family. We remember them as a sweet couple and very easy to work with. So, when they contacted us again, this time to book a wedding anniversary photo session, we were really happy.

They planned a getaway trip to Punta Cana and they thought that booking a photoshoot was a good idea to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. This time, they decided to stay at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana – a rustic and elegant resort located in Uvero Alto.

As they are not early birds in terms of waking up at sunrise, they wanted a sunset photo shoot. It was a good idea after all!
During summer (they came to Dominican Republic on August) the days are longer, so we had more chances to get good light in the afternoon. We picked them up from their resort and we drove around 20 minutes to Macao Beach.

Two years ago, Macao was a large public beach, but now, a brand new resort was built right there: Dreams Macao, so the beach area is a little bit reduced. However, it counts with several spots to use for portraits. We spent an hour with them, but we have to say that they seemed so in love as they were on their wedding day, so time went by quickly.

We ended the photo shoot with a few drone shots. The weather was nice and they were ready for some pics in the ocean. It was a cool way to finish the photo shoot.
