Wedding Photography Punta Cana – Jellyfish Restaurant – Genavieve & Andrew
We hear often that the Dominican Republic has it all for a memorable wedding destination.
This tropical paradise is surrounded by the good-natured waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. With over two-hundred miles of coastline, the Dominican Republic gives us some of the most incredible beaches in the world.
This natural beauty is recognized worldwide by the warmth of its climate and the charm of its wonderful people. In addition to that, their culture is one of the most rich and friendly in the world.
Every year, thousands of people visit this island. Among them are couples who come in search of a romantic getaway, a honeymoon destination, and of course there are those who choose this natural paradise to “tie the knot.”
If you make the decision to get married in this wonderful island, just like Genavieve & Andrew did, but still undecided about choosing the resort or another venue for your big day, no worries. Dominican Republic offers a wide variety of options with everything you need to make your dream wedding come true.
First, we suggest you to always have a good estimate of a headcount of your potential guests. That will help you to choose a venue that offers comfort and fun for everyone. Also, consider the flexibility of the place to adapt it to your requirements.
Once you have a good estimate of the headcount, then you can start making decisions based on that such as: having to pick between a ceremony by the sea or in a gazebo, dinner and catering arrangements, guests tables and size of the dance floor.
For example, Genavieve & Andrew opted for the Jellyfish Restaurant; in our opinion, a fantastic choice.
As wedding photographers in Dominican Republic, we have participated in many ceremonies at this beautiful restaurant, and we can assure you that it will blow your mind by its excellent service, versatility and location.
Jellyfish Restaurant is located in Playa Bavaro, Punta Cana. Their facilities are a mixture of natural beauty combined with fine-designed areas that you’ll love, so you can enjoy of their culinary delights and exotic drinks.
You not only will be pleased by the quality and great environment of the resort, but also by the service and the valuable assistance of a wedding coordinator who will always be dedicated solely and exclusively to meet your expectations and to help you to make the right decisions for your big day. Their staff is just simply great!
Another great benefit of choosing Jellyfish Restaurant as the place for your wedding, is that you will avoid paying the vendors fees and believe us that’s a huge deal!!!
What are the vendors fees?
They are those additional charges that resorts charge you if you want to use your own professionals instead of the ones the resort tells you to use. You should consider it if you decide to have third-party services not included with the resorts’ fees where the wedding will take place. For example, the service of wedding photographers, videographers, DJ’s, MC’s, hair and make up artists, etc. If you decide to have your own photographer you should consider paying a Vendor Fee. Most hotels and resorts in Punta Cana use this system and the cost may vary between US$300 and US$1,000.
Luckily, at Jellyfish Restaurant, like other off-resorts venues, you do not have to worry about this for any vendor. They can also provide a shuttle to and from your hotel, and as an option the house DJ can be there to make all your guests enjoy of the music and dance.
During the ceremony and the reception, the newlyweds looked fantastic. Their elegant attires gave us a wonderful wedding photoshoot session.
Family and friends enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Food, drinks, music and the unique atmosphere of the place complimented the joy and celebration of this unforgettable day.
As professional photographers, we loved being part of this day and to share their joy through the images we leave you below.
Our best wishes to Genavieve & Andrew!
